PAISLEY REKDAL is the author of a book of essays, The Night My Mother Met Bruce Lee; a hybrid-genre photo-text memoir entitled Intimate; and five books of poetry—most recently Animal Eye, which
was the winner of the UNT Rilke Prize, and Imaginary Vessels, her newest collection. She has received the Amy Lowell Poetry Travelling Scholarship, a Guggenheim Fellowship, an NEA Fellowship, two Pushcart Prizes, a Fulbright Scholarship, and various state arts council awards. She teaches at the University of Utah.
